A Meaningful Deal on Climate Change
Featuring Green Parlimentarians from Around the World
Global Green Forum Live Stream from Copenhagen
On Sunday, December 13th, starting at 11:00 am Eastern, the Global
Greens will live-stream a public forum being hosted in Copenhagen on a
Green path to a Global Climate Change Agreement. Leading Green
politicians taking part in this event are advocating a strong climate
treaty, based on the best science and with binding pledges both on
emmission reduction targets and new additional funding for the countries
and communites worst affected by climate change. These green
politicians include Nobel Laureate Wangaari Mathai, and other current
and past Cabinet Ministers and National Parliamentarians.

Leading Green politicians from every corner of the globe
will be in Copenhagen. This event is the only time they are
speaking together on one stage, outlining their views on what
a meaningful climate agreement is and how it can be achieved.
With the outcome of the UN climate talks in Copenhagen held hostage to
the cap-n-trade policies of the US administration and the Majority's
Waxman-Markey bill to privatize the atmosphere; this public event aims
to give a Green perspective on how a meaningful and truly effective
global deal on climate change can be reached before it is too late.
